Beth Walsh

I am licensed to practice in both Kansas and New York. I was born and raised in New York. My family relocated to the Kansas City area several years ago. We all love our adopted home state.

Upon graduation from law school, I served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of New York. I then transitioned to private practice where I worked in general litigation for a firm in New York City.

I was a certified mediator back east, focusing mainly on domestic issues. Over the last fifteen years, I have mediated hundreds of cases which resulted in a flexible, efficient and less-costly process to attain settlement and preserve relationships.

When mediation is not appropriate, I am also a dedicated and caring advocate for my litigation clients.

My husband and I have three school-aged children, plus our beloved dogs. My law practice focuses on Johnson County.

I am a member of the Johnson County Bar Association, Johnson County Family Law Inn of Court, and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. I am also a frequent presenter of Continuing Legal Education seminars focusing on family law practice.
