Elizabeth Hill

Elizabeth believes strongly in the collaborative law and mediation process for addressing family law issues. She helps her clients restructure their family and address the financial issues relative to the distribution of their marital estate and support in an environment that promotes cooperation and focuses on solutions.

What Elizabeth values about the collaborative law process is the privacy and confidentiality provided to clients.  Further, the pace of the process is determined by the parties and not the court.  Divorce can be overwhelming and very stressful. As a collaborative attorney, Elizabeth will be supporting you through the process keeping your goals and interest at the forefront, but also listening to what is important to your spouse, so an optimal outcome can be created for your family moving forward.

She practices primarily in Johson County, Kansas, but also offers services in Clay, Jackson and Platte County, Missouri.

Elizabeth Hill has been practicing family law in Missouri and Kansas, since she received her J.D. from UMKC School of Law in 1987. She is a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, a member of the Missouri Bar Family Law Section, the Kansas Bar Association, the Johnson County Bar Association, the Collaborative Divorce Professional of Greater Kansas City and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.  Elizabeth is the current President of Collaborative Practice Kansas City.
